There’s a new Far Cry in town that’s set to be announced at the Ubisoft Forward online event on Sunday, July 12. However, it seems that someone decided to add the Playstation store page early, and we now know the rough story:

New World MMO delayed to spring 2021
VG247 reports that Amazon’s New World MMO is being delayed to spring 2021 for another round of beta testing. Amazon had already pulled its other title, Crucible due to generally awful reviews.

DONTNOD’s Twin Mirror website is up, and while most of the content isn’t exactly new – there’s a teaser video, along with an FAQ and some other minor tidbits – one of the questions in the FAQ does address whether the game will be episodic like Life is Strange (spoiler, it won’t be). One of the descriptions for the gameplay is “reconstruct key events, revisit his past and more to unlock the truth buried deep within his unique mind”, which reminds me of the part in the original Life is Strange where you try to put the pieces together to find a key location.
The “psychological thriller” will be launched on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (exclusively on Epic Games store for one year) at some point in 2020.
