After an “enjoyable” weekend of sitting around trying to switch PC cases and dealing with messes of tangled wires, it’s back to work.
Get Persona 5 Royal Steel Book Edition for $40 at GameStop
As per VG247, GameStop is currently selling Persona 5 Royal (Steel Book Edition) for $39.99. Persona 5 Royal is the improved/complete version of Persona 5 that includes an extra semester, a new Phantom Thief, a new Palace and brings some story and mechanics changes.
I was a late-comer to the Persona franchise, having only played through P5 last year. But the game honestly blew me away with its intriguing (and timely) story, fun cast of characters, and sense of style (those menus!). Highly recommended.
Twitch Suspends the President’s Twitch Channel
In today’s “fun” news from Kotaku: President Donald J. Trump’s Twitch channel for hateful conduct relating to comments the President made towards Mexican immmigrants.
Okay, I know exactly what you’re thinking – the President has a Twitch channel? Yeah, it turns out he does, but only for broadcasting *** Iron II games in League of Legends *** campaign rallies. Boo!
On a side note, I can’t even believe that this is even a headline. I don’t even know what else to say.
Today’s the 20th anniversary of Diablo II!
“PRAISE THE GODS, YOU’VE ARRIVED! SHOW ME THE SOULSTONE!”
Twenty years ago, Blizzard released Diablo II, one of (in my opinion, of course) the greatest action RPGs to date. I spent the better part of three years playing Diablo II (on and off), but I distinctly remember that release summer and waking up early to play with one of my friends. We’d grind the entire morning, eat lunch, go out and play sports for the rest of the afternoon, then go back home and resume D2 right where we left off until it was time for bed. Every single day. Classic.
I don’t know exactly where Blizzard went wrong with Diablo 3, but for me it started with that awful voice acting for Belial: “PRAISE THE GODS, YOU’VE ARRIVED! SHOW ME THE SOULSTONE!”
Looks like the Battle Royale fad is still going strong: Ubisoft teased their latest project Hyper Scape with a fake Prisma Dimensions company site. The game is slated to come out on July 2nd.
An anonymous user leaked the image above, but I’m not sure if it’s just teaser art or the actual game. I’m digging the art style though.
