Amazon bringing Fallout to the small screen with TV series
Yep, Fallout is coming to the TV screen: Amazon Studios is developing a live-action series based on the Fallout universe in conjunction with Kilter Films. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, Westworld series creators will be producing.
Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.

Ubisoft (officially) announces Hyper Scape, a futuristic Battle Royale
The news was leaked a few days ago, but today Ubisoft officially pulled the curtain on its own Battle Royale shooter Hyper Scape. The free-to-play game features your standard 100 participants vying to be the last one standing in a futuristic cityscape.
Like Riot Games’ VALORANT, Hyper Scape requires you to link your account to Twitch and watch related streams to get access to the “technical test” (can we just call it a beta?). More details here.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of Battle Royales, but I’m digging the art style and futuristic setting.
EVO 2020 cancelled after sexual misconduct allegations, CEO let go
There’s a lot of nasty stuff coming out of EVO, the premier annual fighting-game tournament. First there were allegations of sexual misconduct against CEO Joey Cuellar, then commentators James Chen and Maximillian Dood pulled out of the event, then several game studios left (taking their games along with them), and then finally Evo released this statement on Twitter:

Iron Man VR launches today, scores a 75 on Metacritic
Much-hyped PSVR game Iron Man VR, developed by Camouflaj and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, is now available on the PlayStation Store. The single-player action game has players taking the role of Tony Stark in battling Ghost, an Unidentified Bad Guy (UBG). Or maybe it’s a she? Either way, the important part is that you get to fly around as Iron Man in VR.
Currently the game sits at 75 on Metacritic and retails on the PlayStation Store for $39.99.
