Atlus is bringing Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne Remaster and Shin Megami Tensei V to Switch in 2021
During today’s Nintendo Direct (JP Direct with different games), Atlus made two major announcements: first, that Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne would be re-releasing as an HD remastered edition, and perhaps more importantly, that the long-awaited Shin Megami Tensei V is coming. Both games are set for release in 2021 for the Switch console.
You may not have heard of the Shin Megami Tensei series, but you’ve almost undoubtedly heard of the Persona games. That series is the lighter, hang-out-with-your-buddies spin-off of SMT.
Team17 announces Overcooked! All You Can Eat Remaster coming to Xbox Series X and PS5
The next announcement for the Overcooked! series is not the third entry, but instead a complete 4K remaster of the first and second games, as well as all DLCs. The game is called Overcooked! All You Can Eat and features cross-platform multiplayer and new content – it’ll be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
The Walking Dead: Onslaught is coming to VR later this year, nixes co-op multiplayer
There’s another Walking Dead title heading to VR (SteamVR, PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift) – it’s called Onslaught and has you building a settlement in Alexandria to prepare for an upcoming Walker invasion. It’s also based on the AMC “hit” show (I use that term rather loosely now) and will feature characters such as Rick, Michonne, and Daryl.
Unfortunately, the development team (Survios) decided to drop the co-op option in order to focus on other features of the game.

Sea of Thieves hits 15 million players mark
Pirate-themed multiplayer adventure game Sea of Thieves notched a new milestone under its belt today: 15 million players since launch. According to a blog post by Joe Neate, Rare executive producer, the game has sold more than 1 million copies on Steam, and hit 3.3 million players just last month (June 2020).
The full, uncut, and official It’s Bugsnax song is now available on Youtube
You might remember the catchy tune from the Bugsnax trailer way back during the E3 Playstation event. Well, the song is now out, and – to the surprise of no one – the track is called It’s Bugsnax. Check it out here:
Bugsnax is the next-gen game where you go around eating random bugs ‘n stuff to gain magical powers. No one really knows anything else about it, other than it’s weird. (oh, and it’s also developed by the same group that did Octodad)
